“Christ In Action”

It all started with Jesus recruiting just 12 men and calling them forward to volunteer their lives in GOD’s active service.

Out of those initial 12 [representing the establishment of government] not counting Judas [the son of perdition] who disqualified himself, was also chosen a woman by the name of Mary Magdalene, who was the first to witness the resurrected Living Christ [qualifying her to officially be the First Apostle].

Matthias was chosen to replace Judas as a member of the core twelve ‘apostles’.

The requirements were that the man had to have been with them the entire time of Jesus’ ministry, and to have been a witness of the resurrection and ascension (Acts 1:21-22). The 11 disciples proposed two men:

Joseph called Barsabbas (possibly the same person as Barnabas), and Matthias (Acts 1:23). The 11 disciples then prayed for the Lord’s direction (Acts 1:24-25), and then cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias (Acts 1:26).

These Apostles empowered by the Holy Spirit went and became the hands and the feet of Christ, [the Former Church In Action] preaching repentance and baptizing in the name of the Lord.

Now we the Latter Church, should be earnestly praying and anticipating not just for the Former and the Latter Rain but a fresh new anointing, which would break every yoke off of us, and take us into a higher level than ever before [the third anointing]. That anointing which would free us up to the point where we can finally get us out of the way, freeing us from our own little hidden agendas, and be free indeed to go into the highways and byways…transforming into the corporate Body of the Living Christ In Action.

Our former rain or first anointing is when we are first drawn by God to enter into His realm of reality by receiving His initial touch and encounter with His Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Almighty God which leads us into repentance. Our latter rain or second anointing is when we actually receive the true baptism of the Holy Spirit, with tongues, spiritual gifts, miracles and wonders following and being made evident. Our fresh new wine or third anointing is a cold-pressed painful process as we are squeezed through and through to produce that extra virgin olive oil of anointing.

It’s when we finally get a glimpse of the big picture and divine plan of God for your personal life. You can see that missing piece of the puzzle that you have been made exclusively responsible for to fulfill that great divine destiny that the LORD GOD had planned when He first chose you to be His, and to be holy as He is Holy. What has already been ordained before the foundation of this world. It’s when you finally get it, and you can see yourself as God the Father sees you, actively and corporately functioning in your divine purpose within the corporate church, being the Church.

So what’s my point in all of this…well, I’m finally getting a glimpse of what my Heavenly Father has prepared for me to do, and it’s to do the work of an evangelist, to get off my duff and stop just playing church, start fulfilling my divine appointment by going forth, and being the Church. I’m being called to start a Charter of Chaplains in the ATL-Metro area of northern Georgia.

If you have arrived at the juncture of your spiritual walk to deepen your relationship with Him to press on, press through, and press upward toward the mark for the prize of the high call in Christ Jesus [Phil. 3:14], to become actively involved and truly be the Body of Christ in Action, the Church in Action, and possibly even a Chaplain in Action.

Please prayerfully consider this calling. No longer procrastinate and keep putting it off…

Heed the call, and begin to fulfill your divine destiny today. If it’s to do the work of an evangelist, and become a chaplain, I can show you how to attain your credentials and join my charter. Just click on the Chaplain Federation logo below, and the link will take you directly to the site where you can apply. If you desire to become an active member of my charter here in the ATL-Metro area, please contact me for further instructions on how to do so. I can lead you through the application process.

Thank you for allowing me to share these nuggets of wisdom with you, and for taking the time to even contemplate on actually heeding the call! May the LORD bless you and direct your steps.
